Crescent Lakes is located in a huge, officially designated, wildlife conservation area of many square miles but only a quick 15 mins to Disney using one of the many routes. It's just a few minutes from shops, supermarkets, superstores, restaurants as well as a petting farm, wildlife reserve, Disney Wilderness Preserve, horse riding stables and an airboat ride location.

Crescent Lakes is a magnet for wildlife from the conservation areas so, if you're into 'spotting', it's a great place to stay but remember to take your binoculars as you probably won't want to miss a single bald eagle!

The community has a number of smaller communities within it so they all feel like small neighborhoods and all are named after flowers, trees or plants, .
